JOB DESCRIPTION Peak’s Carpenter will be skilled at building different items with wood. The carpenter will do a wide variety of jobs, including the remodel of modular homes, basic home and electrical repairs, flooring, and basic plumbing repairs. They are often responsible for identifying materials that need to be used, finding the right suppliers for that material, and working with a team of specialists who have the necessary skills and expertise to build and complete those projects. The essential job functions include, but are not limited to • Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work. • Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation. • Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures. • Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job. • Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job. • Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: • Knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, electrical and housing troubleshooting and repairs. • Proven experience as carpenter. • Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials. • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.). • Ability to read technical documents and drawings. • Customer service oriented. • Goal oriented and driven to accomplish results. • Ability and desire to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrains. • Is always conscience of operating in and contributing to a safe work environment. • General labor or construction background a plus. • Willingness to be on call weekends, holidays, nights and overtime as needed. • Must possess a valid Driver’s License. Compensation Information Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Physical Demands and Exposures • Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected. • Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection. • Prolonged sitting, standing, walking. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. • Ability to individually lift: Maximum 50 lbs. Commercial Concrete Carpenter

Commercial Concrete Carpenter General Description: Responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks associated with prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing of concrete. Tasks include erecting and setting forms for concrete structures, foundations, buildings, and site work per specifications and drawings. This may include concrete tilt-wall forms, symon forms and/or structural forms for columns, decks, elevator cores, parking garages and other cast-in-place concrete structures. Responsibilities: • Ability to read and understand drawings and prints. • Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for the construction of concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated concrete slabs, elevator cores, stairways, etc. • Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations and may aid in installing reinforcing steel. • Set and erect forms using a wide variety of materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms. • Verify accuracy of structures using a plumb bob, carpenters level, laser and/or digital transit. • Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level. • Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager regarding any problems arising, materials required, or any safety hazards identified. • Ensure equipment is all in safe working condition. • May help signal concrete deliverer to position truck to facilitate pouring. • Responsible for observing and complying with all safety policies and guidelines. • Assist with placement of concrete as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned.
