Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a keen eye for detail. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires working on construction sites and collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Duties • Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, and roofs using wood, metal, or other materials. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Perform fixture installations including cabinets, doors, windows, and moldings. • Assemble furniture and other wooden products as required. • Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps in structures for improved insulation and aesthetics. • Lay tiles for flooring or wall applications as needed. • Engage in metal stud framing for interior walls. • Execute concrete forming tasks for foundations or structural elements. • Collaborate with project managers and other trades on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Skills • Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints. • Strong skills in fixture installation, including cabinets and doors. • Experience with caulking techniques for sealing joints effectively. • Knowledge of tile laying processes for both floors and walls. • Familiarity with metal stud framing methods. • Ability to perform concrete forming tasks accurately. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. • Physical stamina and strength to handle various carpentry tasks throughout the day.
