Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks, including frame carpentry and metal stud framing. This role involves working on construction sites, focusing on water damage restoration and other related projects. The Carpenter will be responsible for fabricating and restoring structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. • Perform frame carpentry tasks including framing walls, roofs, and floors. • Execute metal stud framing as required for specific projects. • Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and seams for weatherproofing. • Fabricate custom pieces using CNC machinery when necessary. • Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites. • Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks associated with construction work. Experience • Previous experience in the construction or restoration industry is preferred. • Familiarity with water damage restoration processes is a plus. • Proficient in frame carpentry techniques and metal stud framing. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
