We specialize in custom and production construction and installation of interior trim and cabinetry. Role Description This is a full-time employee position requiring a minimum of 1 year experience in interior trim carpentry for new home construction. Responsibilities include the installation of interior trim and cabinetry, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, adhering to project specifications, and maintaining compliance with IOSHA and OSHA standards. The carpenter will work with site supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule for new home builders in Central Indiana. Qualifications • 1 year minimum experience in interior trim carpentry for new home construction. • Possesses a 12" mitre saw with stand along with basic hand and power tools. • Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications. • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Reliable and punctual with the ability to work independently • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Carpenter

Overview Details: This is a full-time position at Methodist Hospital. The standard hours are 7:00am until 3:30pm. Constructs, installs and maintains general building construction and fittings including but not limited to walls, doors, windows, ceilings, shelving and cabinetry. Works from woodworking or other engineering drawings and sketches, along with verbal instructions. Utilizes a wide variety of power and hand tools to measure, saw, level and nail building materials. Performs basic layout, design, ordering and estimating of jobs. Maintains inventory stock and supplies. Performs other related duties as assigned. • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree in applicable discipline preferred. • Journeyman's card or vocational training preferred. • Requires knowledge of basic construction methods. • Requires ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams. • Requires current knowledge of various federal, state, local, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations. • May be required to furnish own hand tools. •Requires a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
