Laborer & Carpenter

Oswood Construction an established Great Falls general contractor is seeking an experienced carpenters and laborers to join our growing team. We offer competitive wages and benefits. We do work throughout Montana but are currently hiring for projects in the Great Falls area. Laborer qualifications: must be a self-starter, willing to learn, and able to read a tape, follow instructions, and pay attention to detail. Duties include (but are not limited to): demolition, assisting carpenters, moving material, clean-up, etc. NO prior experience is required for people dedicated to learning the construction trade. Carpenter qualifications: must pay attention to detail, be able to follow directions, be self-motivated, and must take pride in their work. Duties include (but are not limited to): all phases of carpentry work, using power tools, helping with daily building tasks, keep construction area clean, and move and organize material. 3 years’ experience working as a commercial carpenter is required. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position is required to lift heavy objects, walk, stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects and uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limbed coordination the position requires full mobility of the back arms and legs while performing this job. Carpenter/Laborer

Carpenter needed for simple flip remodels. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, simple framing, hanging sheet rock, tape and mud, laying carpet, painting, minor structural work all required. Sletten Construction Company is seeking Industrial Carpenters for projects in Montana. This position requires the ability to travel. Successful candidates must be able to pass a background check and be willing to sign up with the carpenters union.
