Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction tasks and be able to work collaboratively on projects ranging from residential renovations to commercial builds. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety protocols while delivering high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. • Fabricate custom cabinetry and furniture as per project specifications. • Perform construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of finished projects. • Assemble various components for construction projects, ensuring precision and quality. • Conduct water damage restoration work to repair affected areas effectively. • Lay tiles in bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as required. • Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques. • Apply caulking in necessary areas to ensure proper sealing and insulation. • Assist with basic electrical work under supervision when needed. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are met. Skills • Proficient in construction estimating to provide accurate project cost assessments. • Strong ability to fabricate various structures and components with precision. • Experience in cabinet installation with an eye for detail and craftsmanship. • Knowledge of construction painting techniques for both interior and exterior applications. • Familiarity with tile laying processes, ensuring proper installation techniques are followed. • Capability for heavy lifting and physical endurance for demanding tasks. • Skilled in caulking methods for effective sealing of joints and gaps.
