Construction Carpenter/Steel Framer

Forks Lath & Plaster (FLP) is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team. We currently looking to add Carpenters/Steel Framers to our team in the Grand Forks & Fargo areas, as well as throughout the state. FLP has been in business for over 25 years and offers excellent compensation packages, along with a stable and solid work environment. The Carpenter/Steel Framer is responsible for framing commercial projects using steel framing materials. The Steel Framer will install metal studs used to create the framework for walls in commercial buildings, cut and trim materials, and use hand tools, power tools, and various equipment to complete their work. The Steel Framer will also read blueprints to determine methods of installation, and measure and mark surfaces to lay out work using various marking devices/tools. SUMMARY Responsible for various types of carpentry preparation to include operating hand tools, power tools, operating light equipment, and general clean-up duties.
