Job Summary A Post Frame Construction Carpenter will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks on the construction site including site preparation, use of hand and power tools, and cleanup of the job site. Duties/Responsibilities: • Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools. • Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment. • Assisting with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment. • Reading and interpreting blueprints. • Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools. • Maintains regular and predictable attendance. • Receives and carries out instructions. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to understand directions and read blueprints. • Ability to work at heights exceeding 20 feet. • Works well as part of a team. • Ability to travel as needed. • Ability to work alone once instructions have been given. • Ability to work a 40-hour week with overtime. Education/Experience: • Successful completion of vocational school or technical college or apprenticeship program; OR the equivalent on-the-job training and experience preferred. • OSHA 10 Certification preferred but not required. • Class A CDL preferred but not required.
