Responsibilities include constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. The successful candidate will also be able to read blueprints, measure materials, use power tools, and adhere to safety regulations. Responsibilities: • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials. • Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard. • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. • Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws. • Install structures and fixtures such as windows, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter's level, plumb bob, and laser levels.
