Candidate must have a valid driver's license, be able to pass drug and criminal background checks, and be available to be "on call" after hours. Two years’ experience in water and smoke restoration is preferred but not required. SUMMARY: Finish carpentry REPORTS TO: Construction Project Manager ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS: • Professionally represent the Paul Davis principles of honesty and integrity while performing according to Paul Davis standards and approved practices. • Communicate with management & customers in a courteous and professional manner • Comfortable with technology, able to learn new skills, work as a team member and follow directions. • Perform on-call rotation as needed. • Ability to climb a ladder. • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. • Ability to work in confined spaces and various environmental conditions.-Ability to work around a variety of chemicals without any adverse reaction or sensitivity.-Follow established safety practices including the proper use of PPE when required.-Willing to work with other departments at Paul Davis as needed for demolition, post-construction cleaning etc. • Retirement Plan • Paid Holidays • Paid Time Off

Construction Line Tech

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. JOB SUMMARY Duties include; installing/repairing Conduits, Vaults, Pedestals, Fiber Optic cable, hybrid fiber coax (HFC), ground restoration, flagging, and general construction as directed by the Supervisor. MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • All phases of underground construction include but are not limited to: • Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment • Hand dig using shovel and or mechanical tools • Fully restore worksite at completion of work, refill trenches and holes, tamp soil, and replant any plants or shrubs that were disturbed during our construction, place temporary asphalt on streets where excavations have been performed. • Install and maintenance of underground telecommunications cables • Climb into and out of equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.) • Work around heavy equipment and machinery • Working in congested or remote areas • Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement • Perform general construction work under direction of Supervisor Flagging, property or worksite restoration • Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies • Maintain accurate records including time worked, daily logs as required; properly record all required information on data devices and/or work REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner. • Previous experience and knowledge of underground utility construction helpful • Displays appropriate demeanor, appearance and interactive skills • Knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner • Knowledge of and ability to handle tools and equipment in a safe manner • Ability to dig in all types of soil • Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position • Applicants are required to pass all company drug testing, submit to a background check and adhere to all OSHA, state, city/municipality safety requirements and training provided by the company as required. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
