Job Summary: We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our property maintenance team. This role supports both commercial and residential repair and renovation projects — from fixing doors and trim in retail locations to restoring walls, cabinetry, and decks in occupied homes. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently in active environments, and can adapt from quick-turn service calls to detailed finish work. Key Responsibilities: • General Repairs: Perform day-to-day carpentry repairs on walls, doors, framing, trim, shelving, and fixtures in commercial and residential properties. • Finish Carpentry: Install or repair baseboards, molding, cabinets, and decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail. • Framing & Structural Work: Complete light framing, subfloor repair, and minor wall reconstruction as needed for remodels or damage restoration. • Fixture Installation: Mount shelves, railings, signage, and specialty hardware in retail, office, or residential settings. • Surface Restoration: Patch drywall, sand, and refinish wood or composite surfaces to restore professional appearance. • Exterior Carpentry: Repair or install fences, gates, decks, and exterior trim; perform weatherproofing or sealing as needed. • Preventive & Responsive Maintenance: Assess conditions, identify issues, and complete work orders promptly while maintaining site safety and cleanliness. • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with OSPM crews across other trades — painting, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance — to ensure seamless project completion. • Safety & Tool Care: Operate hand and power tools safely, maintain equipment, and follow company and site safety protocols. • Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • Trade school experience, apprenticeship or relevant certification preferred • Proven experience in carpentry repair, framing, and finish work for both commercial and residential environments • Ability to read measurements, follow drawings, and complete accurate installations • Knowledge of doors, trim, drywall, cabinetry, and general building components • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and pride in workmanship • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team • Physically capable of lifting, bending, standing, and performing manual labor in varied conditions • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: • 2+ years in carpentry, facility maintenance, or residential remodeling • Familiarity with small buildouts, punch-list repairs, and occupied-site work • Basic understanding of commercial safety procedures and residential code compliance Why Join Us? • Competitive pay & benefits • Leadership opportunities • A positive team environment with room for growth • Ongoing training & skill development • High-quality equipment & tools provided • Work on diverse & rewarding projects

EXPERIENCED CARPENTER WITH MASON EXPERIENCE

Job Description We’re seeking dependable and experienced Commercial Service Carpenters, Glazers, and Masons to join our team. In these roles, you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair duties in commercial buildings. You’ll have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively, delivering high-quality service to our valued clients. Location: Detroit, MI (and nearby cities) Pay: Up to $40 an hour What You’ll Do: • Install, repair, and maintain doors, windows, cabinetry, and trim work. • Perform glazing work, including the installation and replacement of commercial glass, storefronts, curtain walls, and aluminum frames. • Complete masonry repairs such as brick/block replacement, tuckpointing, concrete patching, and mortar work. • Perform basic electrical repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets, etc.). • Perform light plumbing (clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, etc.). • Build and repair structures such as partitions, walls, and flooring. • Perform general maintenance as required. • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national building codes. • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
