Duties • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. • Frame carpentry tasks including walls, roofs, and door frames. • Install flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, or tile. • Perform drywall installation and finishing to create smooth surfaces. • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. • Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to specifications. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. • Conduct mold remediation as necessary to maintain safe building conditions. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of framing techniques, drywall installation, flooring installation, and mold remediation practices. • Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws) and power tools (e.g., drills, nail guns). • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed. • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
