Carpenter/Laborer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and a commitment to quality workmanship. This position involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial construction, renovations, and repairs. The Carpenter/Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all work meets industry standards and exceeds client expectations. Duties • Demolition: Safely perform demolition tasks, including tearing down structures, removing finishings, removing old fixtures, and clearing debris while following safety standards. • Framing Carpentry: Assist in the construction of walls, roofs, and other structural frameworks, ensuring accuracy in measurements and assembly. • Finish Carpentry: Support in the installation of trim, moldings, cabinetry, and other detailed woodwork, with a focus on precision and attention to detail. • Collaborate with carpenters to ensure projects are completed on time and meet high-quality standards. • Operate hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing wood and other materials. • Maintain a clean and safe job site, organizing tools, equipment, and materials appropriately. • Follow all safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment. Experience • High school diploma or equivalent. • 3-5 years of proven experience in demolition, framing carpentry, and finish carpentry. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in carpentry, including saws, drills, and nail guns. • Strong physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and manual dexterity. • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation (own truck required), and basic tools for the job. • Commitment to high-quality work and professionalism.
