Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, NCCER) is preferred. • Proven experience in welding, preferably in the marine or industrial sectors. • Strong knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and safety practices. • Experience working on metal fabrication and repairs, particularly on marine vessels and barges. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. • Physically fit, with the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and irregular hours if needed.
