The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in various welding techniques, including stick welding. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for assembling components, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring high-quality standards in all work performed. The Fabricator/Welder will also be expected to assist in the field with our larger installation projects. Job Responsibilities: • Weld and fabricate metal components according to specifications and blueprints. • Assemble parts and structures using various tools and machinery. • Operate a sheet metal brake machine for bending metal to required angles. • Utilize basic math skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances for projects. • Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks as required. • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. • Provide feedback to the fabrication & install lead and company leadership on process improvements and equipment maintenance schedules. • Willingness to travel locally and potentially stay overnight for projects (Possibly overnight 1-2 times per year if required) • Flexibility to work overtime (dependent on peak times of year) • Other duties as assigned.
