Job Description: We are currently seeking a Welder/Fabricator for our railroad car repair department. Previous railroad experience is preferred but we will train the right individual !! A qualified candidate would preferably have a background in welding and metal fabrication / assembly. Our employees work with standard metal working equipment such as welders, grinders, torches, and various hand tools normally inside a shop setting. This position involves occasional travel and possible rotations onto a night shift. Night shift rotation is mandatory for all employees but shall not exceed 30 days 330 pm - 230 am 4 nights per week. Night shift pays an additional $.92 per hour and has 3-day weekends every weekend.
