Summary / Objective The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for fabricating projects through precision welding of steel and aluminum components. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Read and interpret blueprints, graphics, work orders, technical drawings, and other construction documentation to fabricate a quality project. • Fabricate and weld metal components using various welding techniques. • Measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping. • Operate fabrication equipment including welding torches, plasma cutters, grinders, and other hand tools. • Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications. • Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment. • Operate heavy machinery including tractors, forklifts, and skid steers, as needed. • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow. • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. • Assist Shop Foreman with warehouse organization, inventory, and other various projects.
