Candidate should have knowledge welding and grinding a variety of thicknesses of sheet metal in a production setting. Someone who simply knows how to weld would not have the desired experience for this position. See More Details >>POSITION SUMMARY: The Entry Welder position requires MIG welding on steel materials. After the initial training period, welders will be required to perform their duties with a high degree of quality, inspect their work and correct any defects within the given takt time. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Performs MIG welding on steel materials. • Positions and arranges parts and components for welding by prints provided. • Inspects work and fixes any defects as required. • Responsible for keeping work area clean. • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
