Shop Worker / Welder

Our specialty lumber yard is looking for a shop hand that will be responsible for basic woodworking and some welding. Job responsibilities include: • Constructing gates for fence projects. Some gates require customization and the shop hand will need to have basic woodworking skills to ensure precision, productivity, and quality. • Cutting lumber for decorative structures such as pergolas and arbors • Lifting heavy gates and lumber for raw materials is required • Welding experience preferred for this position Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. Position is full-time and located in Provo, Utah. Normal business hours are 8:00am-5:00pm. Shop hand must be available for overtime hours as needed. Rate: Depending on experience. Welding experience a major plus for this position. Must be 18 years of age.
