Carlin - Welder (Tech 4 or Higher) Surface Maintenance

Position Description: Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Tech 4 Welder to join our Carlin Surface Maintenance team to perform mechanical repairs, installations, inspections and preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment. Responsibilities: • Act as a mentor and role model • Performs all Welding Technician Tech 3 level duties proficiently • Competent in bed/bucket repair • Competent in wear iron replacement • Leads the job in bed/bucket swaps • Maintain welding certification The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive Qualifications: • Must have 2 years journeyman level mill/mine maintenance experience in a mining environment (or equivalent).
