Hall Manufacturing (parent company to Bush-Whacker and Hall Tank) is looking for experienced and driven welders with fabrication experience. Analyze engineering drawings/blueprints, assemble using tools and fabrication machines, cut/contour metal, weld and consult on progress with the team, inspecting for functionality and safety. WHAT YOU WILL DO: The ideal candidate for the Fabricator/Welder role must be able to satisfactorily: • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and engineering plans to construct high-quality parts and assemblies. • Utilize a variety of tools and equipment such as welders, cutters, sharers, C &C Machine and measuring tools to shape materials. • Inspect and test finished products for functionality and adherence to specifications. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the manufacturing process. • Assist in the enhancement of fabrication methods, seeking efficiency and reduction of costs. • This position will assist with the electrical assembly, i.e. basic wiring, of equipment for customers. • Perform needed system testing before shipment to customer sites. • Other duties as assigned. YOUR MUST HAVES: • Must be 18 years of age or older. • 1 year previous welding experience GTAW (TIG) or GMAW (MIG). • Ability to comprehend documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating/ maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, algebra, and geometry. • Ability to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions. Strong communication skills (oral and written). • Adaptability & flexibility - can change plans at the moment and make tactical adjustments appropriately.
