Manufacturing Welder

Job Summary "> • Operate saws and other equipment as required. • Perform daily maintenance to keep dry box and associated equipment operable. • Segregate and handle scrap in accordance with prescribed techniques and procedures. • Assist the Melter in operating the arc furnaces and operate lathes or other equipment as required. • Follow safety rules and regulations, maintaining high quality standards. • Enter material movements in SAP. Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in welding, is a plus. Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills are required. Vacuum training is desirable.

Welding Specialist The ideal candidate will possess excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in welding. They should have the ability to keep neat and accurate records. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare scrap bars from heavy tantalum scrap ingot croppings, plate croppings, rod croppings, etc. • Produce electrodes for melting in the CMAF and ALD furnaces from powder bars, scrap bars and forged bars. • Weld powder compacts to electrodes for micro-alloying of ingots. • Operate saws and other equipment as required. • Perform daily maintenance to keep dry box and associated equipment operable. • Maintain accurate paper and electronic processing records. • Segregate and handle scrap in accordance with prescribed techniques and procedures to avoid cross contamination of materials. • Assist the Melter in operating the arc furnaces as required and operate the lathes or other equipment as required. Required Qualifications and Skills: • Requires a high school or vocational degree or equivalent. • Experience in welding and manufacturing is preferred. • Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently. • Vacuum training is desirable. • Must have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. • Requires lockout/tag out certification and fork lift license. • Confined Space certification is helpful. Important Notes: • The selected candidate must be eligible for export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology. • They must qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee, a National of a country that is not prohibited from approval for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
