Aerospace tubing manufacturer located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire is seeking an Orbital Welder to join our manufacturing team. We fabricate precision welded and brazed tube assemblies for some of the largest aerospace companies in the world including Northrop Grumman, United Technologies, Rolls Royce and Lockheed Martin. Duties and Responsibilities • Following written work instructions and procedures in order to prepare titanium, stainless and inconel tubing and fittings for semi-automatic machine welding. • Perform basic preventative maintenance on welding machines and keep work area clean and organized. • Other duties as they are assigned. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications – • High school diploma or GED • Possess a high level of attention to detail. The ability to closely follow step by step work instructions is crucial. • Ability to work well as part of a team. • Prior experience using hand measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers is preferred, but not required. • The physical demands of this position required the employee to regularly stand and/or walk for the entire work shift. Occasional lifting of 10-25 pounds may also be required. • Prior welding experience is helpful, but not required. Willing to train the right person.
