Manual Weld - Full-time

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Manual Welder to join the team. This position is responsible for the joining of metal components together using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machined parts, fabrications, and tubular assemblies. Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Welds and fabricates flexible and rigid tube assemblies composed of a variety of materials using manual and automatic arc welding processes. • Assesses welds for conformance to visual and dimensional requirements. • Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. • Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time • Other duties may be assigned as needed Qualifications: Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Welding certifications based upon business requirements.
