This position is responsiblefor the joining ofmetal components together with a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, fabrications, and tubular assemblies. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Welds and fabricates flexible and rigid tube assemblies composed of a variety of materials using manual and automatic arc welding processes. • Assesses welds for conformance to visual and dimensional requirements. • Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. • Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time • Other duties may be assigned as needed Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations - High school diploma or GED; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
