Proficiency in MIG welding structural steel in both vertical and horizontal positions is required, with certification in 3G welding preferred, though training will be provided. Pay Rate: $20-$27/hour based on experience Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with Saturdays for overtime if need be Responsibilities • Perform structural layout and fitting of steel according to blueprints. • Fit, lay out, and fabricate structural steel projects. • Conduct tack welds to fabricate steel pieces for welders. • MIG weld structural steel in vertical and horizontal positions. • Operate machining equipment like plasma cutters, shears, and presses. • Read blueprints using digital devices such as iPads.
