RMD/Fluxcore Welder

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welders to join our team temporitly for 4 to 5 weeks to start and may turn into a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards in a construction or manufacturing environment. Responsibilities • Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. • Fabricate components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship. • Conduct inspections of welds and fabricated parts for quality assurance. • Operate cranes and forklifts for material handling as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. • Assist in rigging and assembly tasks as required. Requirements • Proven experience in welding with a focus on MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW techniques. • Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices. • Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication, machining, soldering, ductwork, and pipe threading. • Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates. • Experience operating press brake machines and plasma cutting equipment is a plus. • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards is preferred. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues during the welding process. Welder/Fabricator - 2nd shift

We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our 2nd-shift team! 2nd shift operates four nights per week, Mon - Thurs 3PM - 1:30 AM. (Your standard work week ends on Fri 1:30 AM.) Coworkers must be flexible and available to work overtime as requested or per business demand. Shift premium for 3rd shift is 25% of your base salary! Welders / Fabricators are responsible for performing various fitting, layout, welding, finishing, grinding and related operations to assemble and fabricate various structural steel units, including bridges and other building products. Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications: • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required. High school or post-secondary coursework or degree in welding/fabrication highly preferred. • Demonstrated welding experience, including Stick, MIG, and/or Submerged Arc desired. • The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments critical. • Must be able to pass the required welding certification test. Job Title: Welder Job Description - We are looking for a welder to join a small, family owned facility in Williamsport. Work being done is custom work! Must be comfortable welding and assisting with some assembly if needed. Hours are Monday - Friday from 7am - 330pm. Specific training will be provided!
