Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welders to join our team temporitly for 4 to 5 weeks to start and may turn into a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards in a construction or manufacturing environment. Responsibilities • Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. • Fabricate components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship. • Conduct inspections of welds and fabricated parts for quality assurance. • Operate cranes and forklifts for material handling as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. • Assist in rigging and assembly tasks as required. Requirements • Proven experience in welding with a focus on MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW techniques. • Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices. • Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication, machining, soldering, ductwork, and pipe threading. • Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates. • Experience operating press brake machines and plasma cutting equipment is a plus. • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards is preferred. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues during the welding process.
