Responsibilities: • Read and interpret blueprint and drawings • Weld small and large components • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions • Set up materials for welding according to specifications • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure • Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Understanding of and the ability to comply with OSHA regulations. • Ability to interpret and weld metal components to customer specifications. Education and Experience: • Able to pass a weld test given by KFAB • Proven experience as a welder Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending or stooping. • Must be able to move and lift up to 40-pound skid or pallet • Excellent hand-eye coordination and peripheral vision.
