Welder/Fabricator

This job is for a welder fabricator interested in joining a small fabrication shop that makes Hammer mills, custom trailers, and various aftermarket parts for the agriculture industry. Our shop cuts, forms, welds, machines, and assembles almost all of the parts that are used on the equipment we make. Your role will be as follows: • Follow drawings to form, weld, and assemble • Forming parts on the press brake • Repairing customer equipment • During our assembly season you will help assemble the equipment. • At times running the plasma cutter and cleaning parts We are looking for someone with experience in a fabrication/manufacturing environment. We like to do our jobs well and we try to have a good time while doing it. We want someone who likes to learn and takes pride in their work. Welder/Fabricator - 3rd shift

We are always looking for experienced Welders/Fabricators to join our dedicated 3rd-shift team, in Lancaster, PA. Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM. (Shift technically ends on Friday at 7:00 AM!) • ***Coworkers must be flexible and available to work overtime or some weekend, as requested or per business demand. 25% shift differential on top of base hourly rate! Welders / Fabricators are responsible for performing various fitting, layout, welding, finishing, grinding and related operations to assemble and fabricate various structural steel units, including bridges and other building products. Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications: • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required. High school or post-secondary coursework or degree in welding/fabrication highly preferred. • Demonstrated welding experience, including Stick, MIG, and/or Submerged Arc desired. • The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments critical. • Must be able to pass the required welding certification test. Welder - Production/Manufacturing

Summary: Reporting to the Door Line Supervisor, the Manufacturing Production Welder will be primarily responsible for welding and assembling metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment. Sets up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures. Works from specifications, drawings, and weld symbols. Prepares and completes work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal. The employee will take direction from supervisors and experienced production associates to perform multiple tasks in a manufacturing environment.
