Director of Construction – Solar – NY

The Director of Construction leads the Field Operations and works in partnership with our Project Management team to build a safe, high quality, on schedule, profitable projects throughout their region. The Director of Construction role is key to fostering great client relations and developing our employees. CS Energy project sites are located nationally, and the Director of Construction must be open to travel and working 100% at our project sites. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Passionately builds the team by attracting, interviewing, assessing, mentoring, and retaining Top Performers + Develop Career paths for Foreman, Superintendents, and General Superintendents with relation to training and career plans to advance internally, review employee performance and assignments on as needed basis + Provides on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones + Leads and enforces the safety policies and procedures and addresses non-compliance among all employees, subcontractors, and vendors + Leads and enforces the Quality Management System. Field Engineer – Solar Construction – NY

CS Energy is recruiting Field Engineers for projects throughout the US (primarily on the East Coast). The Field Engineer works alongside Project Operations and Field Management to foster great client relationships, work effectively alongside our employees, and oversee the construction of safe, high quality, profitable, and on schedule renewable projects. This position is responsible for assisting the Assistant Project Manager and Superintendent with shop drawings, submittals, scheduling of subcontractors and materials, meetings, as-built drawings, job cost, procurement, quality checks (inclusive of torque checks) and field operations. The Field Engineer will be assigned to our projects nationally (primarily in the Northeast and Southeast) and must be open to working 100% onsite at our construction site. The Field Engineer travels and often temporarily relocates near project sites. Community Solar Installer

Full-time Description Active Solar Development/Ground Support Group is hiring Solar Installers for jobsites in Cortlandville and Scriba, NY (approximately 8-10 installers for 4-5 months). • Site maintenance activities, including shoveling, raking, clearing brush etc. • Build/install racking systems (metal structures supporting solar panels) • Support placement of solar panels on racking systems • Quality control activities related to solar builds (checking bolts etc.) • Transport materials on the jobsite (manually carrying and with the use of equipment) • Site restoration activities including seeding and planting trees • Inspect and maintain tools and equipment • Wear PPE and follow Safety regulations, policy and procedure • Follow daily work plans and effectively work with jobsite team to complete daily build responsibilities • Support other site development activities as required Requirements • Some construction experience helpful. Solar Installation experience highly desired. • Desire and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions 8-10 hours per day. • Personal "smart" cell phone and ability to use email for office communications, business apps, etc. • Clean driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be able to travel between sites during the work week. • Ability to lift, walk, climb, and carry throughout the day.
