Solar Technician III ($5,000 Sign-On Bonus)

Cleanleaf is seeking a Solar Technician III to join our growing team! The Solar Technician III is one of the most experienced employees in the field, and they are responsible for leading and training any team members assigned to the team. ABOUT THE ROLE Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: • Demonstrate integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, as well as a focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis • Supervise, lead, and train any Solar Technician I or Solar Technician II team member assigned to work with the Solar Technician III • Perform Preventive Maintenance on solar and battery installations in accordance with Cleanleaf, customer, and OEM standards • Perform Corrective Maintenance on solar and battery installations in accordance with Cleanleaf, customer, and OEM standards, ensuring that the root cause has been identified and corrected • Ensure that work being performed in the area meets or exceeds Cleanleaf O&M standards • Complete assigned tasks safely, correctly, and within the allotted time • Ensure all PPE, tools, and equipment assigned to the employee are accounted for, maintained in good condition, repaired or replaced as required • Interface with SCADA/DAS systems to understand onsite issue with the ability to communicate to both management and customers • Correctly document all work in a Service Visit and Case within Cleanleaf's CMMS. Correct documentation includes proper grammar and spelling, photography, thermal photography, and completion of checklists • Provide technical support for customer issues as requested • Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the Area Supervisor or Regional Manager SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Safety is a core value at Cleanleaf, and the Solar Technician III must: • Read, understand and sign all safety procedures • Attend weekly safety meetings • Receive, inspect, and maintain all required PPE • Complete all required safety training • Ensure every safety incident known to the employee is reported timely and accurately • Ensure every safety incident involving the employee is fully investigated, documented and corrective actions are implemented REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE While no one individual will possess them all, the successful candidate will bring many of the following experiences, skills, and attributes: • High school diploma or equivalent • Must be able to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record check • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license • Ability to communicate in English, both oral and written • Excellent organizational and leadership skills • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities • Basic computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigation and CMMS systems • Proven experience understanding and implementing OSHA regulations • Ability to read, interpret and understand basic drawings and schematics • Knowledge and understanding of solar plant construction and comprehension of how onsite equipment interacts with the overall plan • Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and repair SCADA/DAS systems which are used to monitor and report onsite performance • Knowledge of and ability to perform IV Curve tracing, determine if an issue exists and repair it • Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and repair major solar plant components (e.g. central and string inverters, transformers, combiner and re-combiner boxes, switch gears, PV modules, etc.) • Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and repair major battery storage components (e.g. central and string inverters, transformers, combiner and re-combiner boxes, switch gears, battery banks, etc.) • Complete courses and maintain advanced inverter certifications • Excitement about growing along with a fast-paced, dynamic company; comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to build, experiment, and iterate when the path forward is undefined • A passion for renewable energy, addressing the climate crisis, and accelerating the clean energy transformation WORKING CONDITIONS A Solar Technician III will be required to work under the following conditions: • May be required to travel up to 50% of the time • Required to work more than 90% of the time in the field performing Preventive and Corrective Maintenances • Work in a fast-changing environment which may require quick decisions with limited processes and procedures PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position has the following physical requirements: • Ability to drive a vehicle • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to walk distances up to 5 miles in a day • Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and the like, maintaining 3 points of contact • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound • Ability to maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing or crouching on narrow or slippery surfaces • Required to have visual acuity which includes depth perception, field of vision and the ability to distinguish between colors • Ability to work in outside environments which may include but are not limited to, extreme heat (temperatures above 100℉) or extreme cold (temperatures below 32℉) for periods of more than one hour • Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & CULTURE Cleanleaf uses an internally equitable and externally competitive total cash approach to compensation. Field Engineer

CS Energy is recruiting Field Engineers for projects throughout the US (primarily on the East Coast). The Field Engineer works alongside Project Operations and Field Management to foster great client relationships, work effectively alongside our employees, and oversee the construction of safe, high quality, profitable, and on schedule renewable projects. This position is responsible for assisting the Assistant Project Manager and Superintendent with shop drawings, submittals, scheduling of subcontractors and materials, meetings, as-built drawings, job cost, procurement, quality checks (inclusive of torque checks) and field operations. The Field Engineer will be assigned to our projects nationally (primarily in the Northeast and Southeast) and must be open to working 100% onsite at our construction site. The Field Engineer travels and often temporarily relocates near project sites. This entry level position that helps prepare an individual for opportunities in Project Management, Estimating and Construction Management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Complies with EHS policies and addresses and/or elevates noncompliance • Performs, documents and communicates EHS and QAQC inspections and results Job Functions • Assists in managing field operations and ensuring all engineering processes are followed. • Generates and manages project submittals, shop drawings, RFI’s and material certifications so all are submitted and approved prior to the start of work. • Performs inspections on all received materials including material receiving reports, over short and damage reports, material release forms and maintain document control of all tasks • Assists APMs and PMs with daily finance functions. Such as Penta, OnBase, Change Orders and Project Buyout • Assists with Supply Chain functions such as vendor set up, working through the procurement process and routing for all CSE purchased material. Produces complete purchase orders after the conditions are approved by the required signatories. • Maintain daily update through project tracker, manage upload of photos and daily reports • Collects and inputs quantity tracking for self-perform and subcontractor work daily • Collects and distributes meeting minutes for all external communication • Attend and participate in all daily huddles • Assist Project Superintendent with new hire paperwork, foreman reports, field inspections and field related tasks • Familiarize themselves with all Subcontractor and Vendor contracts • This position is field based at our project construction sites Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Renewable Engineering, Engineering or other related fields • Working Knowledge of MS Office Suite with strong proficiency in Word and Excel. • Previous internship in solar and/or construction management highly desired • Excellent teamwork, communication, and people skills are essential • Solid time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast environment • Must have a valid driver’s license • Ability to travel and/or temporarily relocate to project construction sites every 3-12 months throughout your region of the United States • The employee will be required to work indoors and outdoors in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry conditions.
