Program Director - Solar

Your main responsibilities will be to: • Identify the project's objectives, scope, timeline, and budget • Develop a detailed project plan, including the work breakdown structure, project schedule, and resource allocation • Engage with clients and stakeholders to obtain project requirements and deliverables • Assemble and lead a cross-functional project team, including project managers, subject matter experts, and support staff • Develop and implement project management processes, tools, and templates • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop and implement appropriate mitigation plans • Manage project resources, including financial, human, and material resources • Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members by communicating effectively, resolving conflicts, and providing regular project status updates • Ensure compliance with project policies, procedures, and standards • Monitor project performance against established metrics and KPIs • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed and that final acceptance is obtained from clients and stakeholders • Capture and document all final project artifacts, including lessons learned, assessment results, and recommendations • Close out the project and archive documentation • Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure program/project delivery • Externally, creating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and support staff YOUR SKILLS • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business, or project management • 7+ years of experience in project management, including managing large-scale projects • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques • Proficiency in using project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6. • Strong knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics • Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting • Excellent organizational and leadership skills • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers • Desire to improve knowledge, be proactive • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
