Tradeco Construction is currently seeking Solar Installers for project near Syracuse New York. Must be able to work 40-50hrs./week (weather permitting) 5 days a week, reliability is key! Prior solar experience proffered. As an Installer, you will be responsible for day-to-day field installation of mechanical hardware, racking components, wiring assemblies, and solar modules. Qualifications • Previous experience in PV installations, general construction, or carpentry strongly preferred. • Experience with the safe use of handheld and power tools • Interest in safety is a must; OSHA 10 preferred (we can assist with this) • Must be able to work in extreme weather/field conditions including cold, wet, & muddy • Must be able to lift 50Lbs. Quality Specialist - Solar - Full-time

The Quality Specialist should be an experienced Construction or Engineering Professional who is able to review our projects to verify they meet all necessary requirements before they are turned over to the client. The Quality Specialist will be responsible for performing scheduled audits and random spot inspections of the work in progress, the final/finished product and project quality document control to verify these items have been completed in compliance with all applicable codes, standards, plans and specifications, and meets customer requirements and expectations. The Quality Specialist should be thorough and observant with an eye for detail. The Quality Specialist must fully understand the requirements for the product (project), and/or be willing to perform self-exploration of project documents, codes, standards and other research to learn the requirements, and have a sense of responsibility towards our reputation in the industry. The primary goal of the Quality Specialist is to verify the products being provided to our clients meet the highest standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Review and be knowledgeable in the specifications for products or processes. • Promote adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations, advise Quality Manager if not met. • Perform project audits to verify project processes and procedures, quality standards, and quality documentation is being met and properly completed. • Communicate with the field team any quality deficiencies, work with team to find solutions, and verify remedies are completed in a timely manner and to the project specifications. • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis. • Submit detailed reports to Quality Manger. • Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new, efficient procedures.
