Position Overview The general role of the Solar Superintendent - Electrical Services to oversee assigned projects for the Electrical Group. This position must help provide leadership for the safe oversight of daily operations on assigned jobs to help ensure optimum productivity and construction compliance. The Solar Superintendent will supervise the execution of assigned jobs within project specifications to ensure that projects are on-time, on-budget, within compliance regulations, and meet or exceed customer expectations. What You'll Do • Supervise and direct site-specific tasks in conjunction with Project Management and any other involved Groups as it relates to assigned projects • Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules and prepare 3 Week Look-Ahead schedules for office personnel • Assist in developing daily POD's (Plan of Day) in conjunction with Project Management • Identify and communicate issues and concerns from the field that would jeopardize the project's ability to continue as planned • Prepare T&M tickets, daily production reports, receipts, and other paperwork as required by the job • Assist with planning the manpower, equipment, and supplies required to execute the job and communicate needs to Management • Assist in coordinating maintenance, repairs, and additional work with the customer and Group Management • Ensure that company and rental tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained in a professional and workman-like manner and that they remain in safe working condition • Ensure that all codes are satisfied, in conjunction with all agencies • Perform regular site inspections for unsafe conditions or practices and respond with recommendations for corrective actions when needed • Responsible, in collaboration with the Safety and Compliance department, for crew safety and establishing a safe work environment that complies with the Company safety program • Ensure that emergency situations are resolved in a timely and efficient manner • Answer calls and questions related to the job, other co-vendors and from other Beitzel employees and ensure that positive relationships exist • Respond in a timely manner to customer service needs • Provide troubleshooting to follow a problem to the source and solve the issue • Assist, coach, train, and mentor other field personnel as needed Working Conditions • Sit, talk, hear, read, write and type • Walk;
