Job Summary: The position is ideal for someone wanting to get started in a trade or career; Or for those who have electrical or mechanical experience and would like to get into the solar industry. You will learn all aspects of the installation process including setting up solar panels, racking, inverters, and wiring. You will work as part of a small team that is responsible for all aspects of the projects from job set-up, to installation, commissioning, and job clean-up. Responsibilities: • Install solar panels, racking systems, and related equipment on residential and commercial properties, following company guidelines and safety protocols. This includes all aspects of the installation process—from job layout and site preparation to the physical mounting of systems on rooftops or ground structures. This will include installation on various types of job sites such as residential roof mount, ground mounts, and commercial roof mounts. • Follow all instructions from your solar lead and solar manager in order to keep yourself and other team members safe. Follow all safety procedures and advice ensuring you are aware of your surroundings and potential hazards. • Ensure complete cleanup of the job site upon project completion, leaving no Energy Select materials or tools behind. The site should be left in a clean, professional condition that reflects our standards. All work must meet Energy Select’s quality expectations, with respect for the customer’s property and home. • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and address any questions or concerns they may have regarding the installation process. Qualifications: • Ability to lift over 50 lbs safely and comfortably as well as doing so on a rooftop or height. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
