FP&A Associate

Description Nautilus Solar Energy's ("NSE") FP&A Associate will be responsible for analyzing revenue and collections impacts on NSE's operating portfolios. They will assist with quarterly reporting, acting as a liaison between CS Operations, NSE Accounting, and FP&A. This position reports to the Director of FP&A. This position is remote, with <10% travel required. • Assist Accounting team and CS Operation Manager with quarterly reporting: • Review data to ensure it is accurate. • Identify and explain variance drivers. • Act as a liaison with Community Solar and other teams within the organization. • Work with Business Operations and Hansen to implement the NetSuite integration for CS Operations • Ensure the correct data flows from Hansen to NetSuite and NetSuite to Hansen • Provide recommendations for improving internal processes and efficiencies • Analysis of Accounts Receivables outstanding and collection rates, bridging variances between generation, billing, and cash collected. • Analyze and propose amounts and adjustments to A/R Uncollectible Reserves on a by-project basis. • Other ad-hoc responsibilities/projects Requirements • College degree: Accounting or Finance majors preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects on different timelines. • Awareness of and interest in renewable energy preferred. • Ability to work independently in a team-oriented and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. • High Proficiency in Excel, with Thinkcell experience preferred. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint • Possess analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively with various levels and functions of the organization. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. Benefits • Competitive Salary: 110,000 - $120,000 • Annual Performance Bonus • Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, Basic Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability) are 100% covered by Nautilus • 401(k) offered with employer match Description Nautilus Solar Energy's ("NSE") FP&A Associate will be responsible for analyzing revenue and collections impacts on NSE's operating portfolios. Project Finance Analyst, Solar Business, South Bend, IN

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for building and maintaining financial models required to support the Bank’s prospective renewable energy projects. Works closely with the Senior. Manager of Solar Finance to analyze renewable project loans and investments. Analyzes actual project/client results compared to modeled expectations in order to monitor loans and investments and inform future decision making. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS • Develops, builds and maintains financial models for internal analysis and client presentations. • Interacts with the Solar Team on structural and technical aspects of solar projects. • Coordinates with the Solar Team, clients and outside consultants to obtain and verify modeling inputs and assumptions. Proactive in seeking out the data necessary for the completion of modeling work. • Prepares or assists the Solar Team in the preparation of internal and external presentation materials and materials related to project submissions to outside parties. • Analyzes results obtained from the Operations Manager or other team members on a periodic basis • Performs additional responsibilities as requested, including special nonrecurring projects for management. • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position. • Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position. • Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements. NON-ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Performs all other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS • Two (2) to five (5) years of related experience preferred. • Two (2) or more years of financial analysis and modeling experience required. • Prior financial banking experience preferred. • Understanding of energy project finance deal structures and terminology is preferred. • Understanding of corporate finance, valuation and financial accounting preferred. Excellent PC skills • -proficiency in Word and Excel essential, understanding of PowerPoint and database software preferred. • Excellent math and analytical skills. • Ability to work under pressure and drive completion of projects to meet deadlines. • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree required.
