During the off season this position will work on various projects and preventive maintenance. This is a full-time year-round benefit eligible position, paid at $30.00 - $35.00/hr, based on experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures • Ability to braze and solder pipes and tubes • Locate and repair water line leaks and remove clogs • Diagnose plumbing problems and work to resolve any issues • Determine and order materials for each project • Perform pressure tests on air and water systems • Other general maintenance duties as needed and assigned • Respond to and close work orders in a timely fashion • Additional duties as assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Education: • High School Diploma, or equivalent • Proof of completed apprenticeship • Vocational certification/Valid plumbing license Experience: • 3+ years related experience QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS • A general understanding and working knowledge of mechanical systems, i.e. heating, electrical and plumbing, is required for this position. • Ability to read technical designs and blueprints • Proficiency using plumbing tools, materials, and equipment • Expert knowledge in piping and ventilation systems • Understands state regulations and local building codes • Experience with oil and gas boilers • Must be a strong independent and collaborative worker TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Vehicle provided for travel on the mountain. A valid driver's license is required for this position and successful Motor Vehicle background check. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
