This is for a site development contractor that specializes in asphalt paving, grading, excavation, and utilities work for public, commercial, and residential construction services. TEMP-TO-PERM! WEEKENDS OFF! • PAY: $37-$44/hour (based upon experience) • HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays (Plus Overtime) 5 days per week • SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday; 7:00 am-3:30 pm • START DATE: ASAP Site Manager Job Description: Responsible for managing and overseeing site construction operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This includes coordinating workers and subcontractors, managing resources, monitoring progress, enforcing quality and safety standards, and serving as the primary point of contact for the project team and stakeholders. Responsibilities for Site Manager: • Develop and maintain the project schedule; monitor progress, allocate resources, and make adjustments to ensure timely completion. • Lead the site team by assigning tasks, hiring, and managing subcontractors. • Oversee the quality of work performed by teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. • Contribute to cost estimation and monitor expenses to ensure the project remains within the allocated budget. • Act as the key liaison between the construction site and project stakeholders, including the project manager, engineers, architects, and clients, facilitating communication and resolving issues. • Maintain accurate daily logs of site activities, manage project documentation, and utilize project management software to organize data. • Enforce company policies to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications for Site Manager: • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in site construction leadership for a paving/excavation/utilities contractor. • Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted. • Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves • Drug and background screening required.
