Full job description Perform take-offs and estimates for, but not limited to doors, frames, and hardware along with restroom accessories and partitions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform accurate, thorough and timely quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and other supplied information. • Compile legible quotes for submission to clients. • Provide problem-solving solutions using building codes, product information, and experience. • Reviews the estimate with the manager to ensure that data is accurate, that all components of the project are properly captured and properly charged. • Modify estimates per customer or Account Specialists requests. • Communicate effectively with all organizational levels and with potential customers. • Provide excellent customer service. • Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES • Commercial estimating experience preferred. • Doors, frames, and hardware knowledge a plus. • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications. • Solid understanding of the commercial construction process. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) preferred. • Excellent written and verbal skills. • Strong mathematical skills. • Able to perform duties independently, while also functioning as part of a team. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Able to prioritize workloads in order to meet deadlines. • Capability to develop new skills and adapt quickly.
