United Trades of America is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Construction Field Superintendent. Projected start February 2024 Construction Field Superintendent is responsible for the supervision and management of all aspects of assigned projects from mobilization through punch list and demobilization, including client relations and cost control of general conditions and overall budget of the entire project.Requirements: • Minimum 5-10 years construction experience working as a Field Superintendent. • Knowledgeable in general building and site/civil construction, reading plans and specs • Experience working on construction projects with available references. • Current First Aid/CPR • OSHA 30 hrs. certification • Technical experience required including MS Office, MS Project ProCore • Construction related degree or equivalent job experience Job Duties: • Ensures that all construction work performed is of the highest quality - holds weekly meetings regarding 3 week look ahead with sub-contractors. • Assists project managers in formulation of construction schedule and maintains adhesion to project timeline • Supervises employees, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality control and project compliance • Schedules and directs all inspections with city officials, government agencies and private agencies as required. • Assists Project Manager with bidding, subcontract scope of work, pricing of owner and subcontractor change orders and verification of costs • Produces and submits the following documents accurately as per the designated timeframe: • RFI's & RFI Logs • Safety data and meeting facilitation • Jobsite Photographs (following Construction Photos policy) Minimum three photos per day to be taken. Weekly photos submitted each Monday to Field Coordinator and Strategic Planning Team • Rolling Schedule- Detailed three-week schedule showing all working areas of the jobsite and all trades involved • Performs safety management responsibilities, orientations, quarterly meetings, OSHA Standards, Program Components. This includes planning, communication, monitoring, enforcement and documentation • Maintains and posts OSHA and Company required safety literature • Documents and completes all punch list items in a timely manner • Maintains Systems and Procedures manual • Tracks, maintains and secures company owned tools, and rental equipment at all times • Completes Insurance Coordinator's Sub on the Job Report and returns no later than each Monday • Conducts weekly onsite foremen meetings Pay Rate - $30 - $38 per hour depending on experienceBenefits - telemedicine, 401K, employer paid life insurance, credit repair, and more!
