Job Summary: As a Construction Coordinator, you play a key role in accelerating organizational success by directing and overseeing the work of our contracted partners to place and repair drops to service locations, performing splicing work and updating associated mapping records on a consistent basis. You represent the company and ensure the company's standards are being met. Requirements You successfully fulfill the following essential duties and responsibilities: You will use your LEADERSHIP SKILLS to: • Provide direction, oversight and inspection of construction placement and repair activities performed by contracted labor. You will utilize your ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS to efficiently: • Ensure that drop projects are completed timely and effectively and assist with ensuring appropriate inventory is available and onsite to complete forecasted work. • Update and maintain mapping software database, including accurate and timeline input of drop records into company's mapping software. You will use your COLLABORATIVE SKILLS to: • Serve as the company liaison with contracted construction partners, providing and monitoring their schedules and keeping drops and repairs on track. • Provide updates to supervisor and management, participate in one-on-one and team discussions to ensure activities are complete to company's standards and timelines. • Support the company by completing other duties as assigned. You will use your TECHNICAL SKILLS to: • Answer employee and contractor questions, conduct research, visit job sites and assist in determining placement of drops. • Inspecting and documenting quality of work inspections and reviewing and approving contract work. • Perform splicing, repairs and related work in order as drops as placed by contracted partner. • Train and mentor junior splicers on company's best practice. • Create work orders and project-specific drawings, send to contractors and reconcile inventory after projects are complete. • Perform quality control reviews of splicing work performed by others. You will meet the following educational, licensing, certification, and work experience requirements: • Hold and maintain a valid driver's license; driving record must meet the criteria of the company's insurance carrier for acceptance of coverage. • Five or more years in related technical work such as telephone, internet, and CATV required. • High school diploma or equivalent required.
