Mason Laborer and Tender

The Tradesmen Group LLC (TTG) is seeking roof and mason laborers & tenders for long-term employment on multiple projects in our hubs: DC, Nashville, Columbus. Some experience with roofing and/or masonry on a commercial construction site is required. TTG is an award-winning full-service building rehabilitation/restoration company. We self-perform multiple trades, including all aspects of historic masonry restoration, roofing, architectural metals, carpentry, painting, and more! An employee-owned company. Duties include: • Move materials, general clean-up, and operation of a telehandler as applicable • Erect/dismantle scaffold • Tend masons & roofers • General cleanup • Help with scaffold erection • Operate small equipment and power tools • Use of a telehandler forklift • Historic restoration experience preferred but not required Other job criteria include: • Applicants are required to pass a background check • Job requires OSHA 10-hour training/certification • Overtime will be offered We work where we live, and it shows. DOT Hire Up Mason

About the position The Hire Up Mason position is a paid work experience opportunity designed to provide individuals with job readiness training and hands-on experience in masonry work. This role involves maintaining and repairing various structures and assets within Baltimore City, contributing to the upkeep of the city's infrastructure. Responsibilities • Builds and makes routine repairs to structures composed of various masonry materials such as marble, cement, tile, brick, or stone. , • Prepares ground for the laying of replacement sidewalks. , • Sets forms for structures such as steps and sidewalks. , • Plasters and waterproofs foundation and masonry walls with cement, mortar, or plastic. , • Lays and sets paving blocks of marble, concrete, tile, brick, or stone in simple patterns. , • Performs routine cement finishing work. , • Performs related work as required. Wrecking Operator

Successful candidate must have at least 3 years of demolition experience.
