Job Summary: We are seeking an Equipment Operator/Transporter (telehandler \ forklift \ backhoe…etc.) to join our Loenbro Team at our Rock Springs, WY operations. As an equipment operator/transporter, you will be responsible for operating equipment to move, lift, and transport materials within a fabrication shop or to the construction site. The position will require a Class “A” CDL license. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials handling and possess a strong attention to detail. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change. • Candidate must have a mechanical aptitude. • Use of basic hand tools is necessary. • Ability to perform pre-trip inspection to ensure loads are secured correctly. • Ensure all required wide load signage and flags are in place and visible. • Responsible for the truck/trailer and all safety equipment being in proper working condition. • Always be professional and courteous. Skill/Knowledge Required: The ideal candidate will have the following experience/educational background: • Must have a current/valid medical card or possess the ability to obtain one. • Must comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations • Class A CDL is required. • Approved safe driving record. • The candidate must be flexible to perform other work tasks when no deliveries are on schedule. • A minimum of 3 yrs of experience is preferred.
