Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction, with the ability to work with various materials and techniques. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating structures using bricks, blocks, and other materials. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities • Construct and repair walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, or stone. • Apply plaster and caulking to ensure proper sealing and finishing of surfaces. • Renovate existing structures by removing old materials and replacing them with new ones. • Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete masonry tasks. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are met. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Experience • Proven experience in masonry or related construction fields is preferred. • Proficiency in using hand tools specific to masonry work. • Familiarity with concrete forming techniques is advantageous. • Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory. • Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications accurately. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
