About the position As a Machine Operator at Bob Evans Farms, you will play a crucial role in the production process of our delicious, farm-inspired food products. With a legacy of 75 years, Bob Evans Farms is recognized for its high-quality refrigerated dinner sides, sausage, bacon, and egg products. This position is based in Sulphur Springs, Texas, and is part of the Refrigerated Retail division of Post Holdings, Inc. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up the Lyco and Blentech production room, making necessary adjustments to equipment, and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) during production, sanitation, and handling of materials and ingredients. You will be expected to maintain and adjust equipment to control designated weights on individual packages or case weight basis, while meeting production performance requirements in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will also be responsible for transferring finished products and raw materials to designated locations within the plant or on the production line. Safety is paramount, and you will need to adhere to all safety requirements, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as prescribed for each work activity. Performing Critical Control Point (CCP) checks as needed and following all Safe Quality Food (SQF) principles pertinent to your position will be essential. Any food safety or human safety concerns must be reported to the appropriate personnel, such as the shift lead, supervisor, QA technician, or Safety Manager. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, along with two or more years of industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience. Forklift or pallet jack certification is a plus, and the ability to communicate effectively and apply good judgment in various situations is crucial.
