As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating specialized equipment in the thermoforming manufacturing process. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us achieve our sustainability goals. Responsibilities: · Operate and monitor thermoforming machinery to ensure efficient production. · Conduct quality checks on finished products to maintain high standards. · Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks. · Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. · Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes. · Show up 20 minutes early for the shift to warm up machines and debrief with the prior machine operator to address any issues that might have occurred on prior shifts. · Perform quality control checks on each part every 10-15 minutes. · Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly, documenting downtime and writing down roll tags. · Load the rolls onto the machines and cut the scrap rolls off the lines. · Assist packers if they get backed up and pack on the end of the line to cover breaks and if shorthanded. · Communicate with maintenance and management if a machine goes down. · Ensure all packers are getting breaks in a timely manner. Qualifications: · Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment. · Familiarity with thermoforming processes is a plus. · Ability to follow instructions and work independently. · Strong attention to detail and quality standards. · Commitment to workplace safety and sustainability practices.
