As a Machinist, you will be responsible for producing parts of a high degree of complexity for the Sherman operations. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: • Producing parts and meeting all specifications and tolerance required from work orders, shop orders, and/or Fisher specifications. • Operating any machine, including manual and CNC machines, to its proven capability in a highly productive manner. • Coordinating setups and programming issues with machine shop programmers including setting up the part, defining work planes, and managing different geometries. • Inspecting all detail parts to ensure operations conform to requirement. • Maintaining accurate and detailed records. • Reporting status of work using computer input, bar code, or other devices as required.
