CNC Programmer/Machinist

As a CNC Programmer/Machinist, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team, utilizing your expertise in CNC programming, machining, and precision measuring instruments. Your proficiency in using micrometers and calipers, along with operating CNC lathes and mills, will be essential in producing high-quality machined parts. With a focus on attention to detail and accuracy, your role will involve interpreting blueprints and ensuring the proper setup and operation of CNC equipment. Manual Machinist

Manual Machinist - Longview, Tx $25-33/hr Job Description Join a leading global engineering, manufacturing, and servicing company specializing in heavy industrial power and control systems. We serve various industries, including oil and gas, mining, energy, utilities, and marine. We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to perform basic lathe and milling operations using medium-sized machines. Responsibilities • Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, broaching, and conventional milling and lathe work using various engine lathes, including horizontal and vertical mills, and horizontal boring mills. • Use measuring devices and techniques to ensure proper sizing of parts. • Record data to produce expected service and design results, including sizing and illustrations. • Understand materials and their various applications to complete jobs effectively. • Utilize various hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools, including band saws, belt sanders, hand grinders, and files. • Lift, tighten, adjust, and secure heavy objects while observing safety precautions. Essential Skills • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. • Strong mechanical skills and experience with manual machining. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Minimum 2 to 3 years of manual machinist experience. • Experience with mill operations and general production. • Machine operation skills, including the use of tape measures and assembling components.
