JOB SCOPE: • Perform all operations within ac continuous flow-manufacturing cell, operating cutting saw, measuring, utilizing the skills and ability to set up and run all machines, as well as test equipment including burring within the cell, measure and record inspection results using electronic gauging and all other inspection equipment for data collection, and perform penetrant inspection for final acceptance or rejection of product. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Employee(s) will be transferred to other positions during slack periods and/or decreased workload. • Must be able to perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner with regard to self and others working in the cell. • Perform assigned cleaning required to maintain individuals work area in a clean condition. • Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification. • Set-up and operate machining centers, related equipment and inspection systems (including NDI training) to produce product within company processes and procedures. • Perform assigned work to specified process including in statistical process control to ensure final product quality. • Be familiar with and work within applicable company procedures and work instructions relative to job function. • Communicate on a timely basis to all relevant personnel any issues found during the daily processing of product and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. • Train or be trained as needed. • Record keeping as required. • Works with others across payrolls, functions, and shifts to solve problems in a timely manner (Real Time). • Properly maintain cell/equipment and to perform all required system checks in accordance with applicable processing procedures and/or work instructions. • Capable to work unsupervised in their area. • Ensure “legacy” knowledge transfer. • All other duties as assigned.
