Die Sinker Machinists

Description: Channellock Inc. is looking for a Die Sinker Machinist for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts. -Ability to set-up EDM, CNC, and related machines used in making a variety of Forge and Restrike dies, and trimmers. Remove and replace tooling required for various machining jobs. Set-ups are exacting but not difficult, usually involving alignment and securing of fixtures, and various other requirements according to the part complexity. -With the use of drawings, layout prints, templates, platters, parts, and computer programs, use the EDM, CNC and other machines to produce the Dies, Trimmers, and other parts used in the Forging process. Check the Dies and Trimmers for dimensional requirements, and make necessary adjustments to meet quality for all specifications. Fill out any necessary forms and work cards. Assist in any Forge Shop Die or Trimmer related problems. Report any questionable conditions to the supervisor. Requirements:
