Your role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, operating CNC mills, and understanding G&M codes. You will be responsible for safely loading and unloading castings and raw materials in CNC machinery, utilizing gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements, and performing tool wear offsets. Responsibilities: • Read and interpret blueprints. • Properly and safely load and unload castings and raw materials in CNC machinery. • Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. • Understand, interpret, and edit G-code programming. • Recognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling. • Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery. • Set up and operate a CNC mill. • Hold tolerances to the 1000th. • Work with aluminum. • Operate Haas and Fanuc machines. • Perform quality checks using gauges, micrometers, and calipers. • Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions. Essential Skills: • Proficiency in setting up machines. • Ability to live edit machinery. • Understanding of X, Y, 0 points. • Basic understanding of G&M Codes. • Ability to run 2 machines simultaneously. • Experience with CNC milling machines.
