CNC Machinist

Hunt Pipeline Products in Huntsville, Texas is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist who excels in a fast-paced environment. This is a full time position on day-shift, with standard hours scheduled from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday - Friday. Must be available to work overtime as required. The ideal candidates will have: - A strong desire to learn and succeed (Required) - An advanced understanding of machining processes and concepts (Required) - 3+ yrs of valuable, verifiable CNC machine shop experience (Required) - The ability and willingness to run multiple machines at the same time if needed (Required) - Experience with Haas CNC controllers (Preferred) - The ability to make minor program edits at the machine (Preferred) - CNC Programming experience (Preferred) Key Responsibilities: • Operate CNC Lathes and Mills to produce high quality parts from steel, aluminum, bronze, and similar materials. • Perform machine set ups with little to no assistance • Measure workpiece using calipers, gauges, micrometers and other precision measuring instruments • Prepare documentation and records of actions performed. • Measure parts against specification sheets.
