About the Role A Machine Operator is a resilient and team-minded individual responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating various types of machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Key duties and responsibilities include: • Setting up and calibrating manufacturing equipment. • Operating machine equipment to complete production tasks efficiently. • Conducting quality checks to ensure parts or materials meet required standards. • Evaluating machine efficiency and identifying areas of improvement. • Adhering to all safety rules, best practices, and company standards. • Performing other related duties as assigned. About You Basic Qualifications • Understanding of basic math including fractions. • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings. • Proficiency with tape measures. • Experience in setting up and operating machinery used in manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications • Prior relevant experience in a similar role. • Forklift certification. • Overhead crane experience. • Knowledge of inventory control procedures. • Proficiency with hand tools. Physical Requirements • Manual dexterity and stability required for precision work. • Close-range vision for detailed work. • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. • Capacity to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials. We are looking for a full-time employee to help us weld our air ride towing hitches on cobot welding machines. ✅Responsibilities: - Gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job. - Operates cobot welding robot according the policy and procedure. - Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage. - Ability to weld or tack weld a plus.
