In this role, you will be vital in setting up and operating CNC equipment within our state-of-the-art Tool and Die department. Schedule: 6:30 AM - 6:45 PM, Work 7 out of 14 days every two weeks, ensuring every other weekend includes a 3-day weekend off! Normal work schedule involves 36 hours in one week (Sun/Wed/Thu) and 48 hours the following week (Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat). Pay: Compensation is based on experience. Highlights of your Role: • Utilize advanced equipment in our well-equipped Tool and Die department, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. • Set up, program, and operate CNC machines, including vertical mills and wire EDMs, to manufacture and modify precision dies and tooling. • Create and edit programs on various controls to produce high-quality tooling. • Inspect, maintain, and repair machining equipment, tools, and dies to ensure optimal performance. • Conduct quality checks with measuring and gauging tools to ensure accuracy and adherence to guidelines, enabling on-time delivery with minimal waste. You're a Good Fit If You Have: • A team-oriented mentality, with the ability to train and mentor others. • A proactive approach to supporting production and solving challenges. • Two or more years of related experience or a technical degree in Precision Machining Technology. • Mechanical or technical proficiency in operating CNC mills or surface grinders.
