Overview: ADF International, a North American leader in the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of complex steel structures and modular construction, is seeking a Fabrication Foreman for our steel fabrication plant in Great Falls, Montana. We are looking for candidates with strong leadership skills, relevant fabrication, and production experience within the steel fabrication and construction industry. The CNC Foreman supervises and assigns CNC Operators tasks based on production needs. What we offer: • Competitive wage ranging from $31.00-$33.00/hour • Additional $1.50/hour night shift differential for hours worked after 4:30 pm • Eligible for attendance incentive • 401(k) + matching up to 5% • 100% Employer Paid Insurance Premium Options for medical and dental • Employer Paid Protective Equipment and consumables • Eight (8) paid holidays • Paid Time Off • Relocation assistance • Generous Sign-On Bonus General Expectations and Responsibilities • Follow ADF safety procedures and practices. • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the team’s work activities and progress daily. • Maintain the quality of work produced by the CNC team. • Oversee all CNC functions, material movement, and machine maintenance. • Participate in new-hire orientations as needed. • Participate in the development of new procedures, techniques, and equipment as needed. • Interact/meet with your team regularly to provide guidance and updates. • Enforce disciplinary actions when necessary. • Direct the flow of materials, log locations, and progress. • Report and coordinate equipment repairs and inspections. • Periodically check in on the storage of consumables for the CNC department. • Ability to learn on the go and apply newfound knowledge as necessary. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Establish open lines of communication across departments to ensure knowledge of all ongoing progress and expectations. • Any other related duties or special projects as needed. Education, Training, or Work Experience • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency • 5 years CNC manufacturing experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. • Prior management or supervisory experience preferred. Physical Requirements • Must be able to stand/walk for 10 hours at a time. • Ability to bend, squat, kneel for varying lengths of time. • Ability to fully articulate shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist. • Must be able to grasp and safely operate hand and power tools. • Must be able to occasionally push, pull, lift, pull, or carry up to 75lbs. • Must be able to work in various conditions (loud, hot, dusty, cold, etc.). • Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend on ladder. Foremen may occasionally be required to drive to another location, therefore a valid driver’s license is necessary.
